Edafa Venture took part in Techne Summit 2024 in Alexandria, one of the leading technology and investment events in Egypt and the region. During the summit, Dr. Youssef Sakr, General Manager of Edafa Venture, announced the company’s regional expansion plans with new branches in both Bahrain and Qatar.

Deep Tech Hackathon 2025
On August 30, 2025, in collaboration with the Electronics Research Institute (ERI), Edafa Venture launched the largest Deep Tech Hackathon in the region, an exceptional platform to transform scientific ideas into pioneering startups.
This event empowered participants with:
– Exclusive access to ERI’s advanced laboratories for experimentation and prototyping.
– Direct mentorship from scientific research experts and Edafa investors.
– Opportunities to showcase their innovations before an investment panel and leading deep tech investors.
The hackathon concluded with a dedicated startup competition, sponsored by Startup Sync, during which the top three winning projects were honored. The awards were supported by our global partners, Venture For All® and McGraw Hill, reflecting their ongoing commitment to empowering innovators and helping them transform their ideas into scalable and growth-driven companies.

Edafa Venture Partnership with McGraw Hill to Empower Young Innovators
At Edafa Venture, we believe that true innovation is born from collaboration and inspiring partnerships, where shared visions transform into initiatives that create a brighter future.

– The collaboration supports the innovative initiative RoboVenture, launched by our startups Ibdaa Academy and Business Lobby. RoboVenture combines programming skills with the spirit of entrepreneurship in an inspiring competition format that gives children and teens a rich learning and hands-on experience.
– The partnership will also deliver specialized entrepreneurship curricula for young learners, developed by experienced experts under the title Entrepreneurship for Young Learners for ages 10–16. These programs integrate Arabic, English, mathematics, and science learning through interactive games, videos, and innovative assessments.
